CBR600 Series Braking Unit

Overview
Technical Information
  • The CBR600 series brake unit is mainly used in situations with large inertia loads, four-quadrant loads, fast shutdowns, and long-term energy feedback.
  • When the drive brakes, due to the mechanical inertia of the load, the kinetic energy will be converted into electrical energy during braking and fed back to the drive, causing the drive DC bus voltage to rise.
  • The energy-consuming brake unit can convert excess electrical energy into resistor heat energy consumption to prevent excessive bus voltage from damaging the drive.
  • The CBR600 series brake unit has functions such as overcurrent, overvoltage, overtemperature, and brake resistor short-circuit protection.
  • With the parameter setting function, users can set the braking start and stop voltages; they can also achieve the needs of high-power drive braking through master-slave parallel operation.
